Worst grocery delivery service in Mumbai

We have place 4 orders in the last four weeks and every order has either gotten messed up or took too long to deliver. The customer service number is useless, all they do is connect you to the local store.

Just started using the app. It’s very poor quality compared to some of the grocery apps I’ve used.

Terrible app

Have the developers actually used their app on various platforms? It does not work on an iPad. iPhone use is clunky at best. Searching for products and product info is iffy at best. Abd the worst is that they slip in a membership fee onto your bill. You need to notice and Opt Out! What a racket. Nature’s Basket should be ashamed.

Not a good UX

Very tedious and busy, also glitchy at times

Exceptionally poor app, or should I say the biggest goof up have I done by having it on my phone useless and keeps updating every week but no changes in the way it works..

The app is designed for iPhone. It’s cumbersome to use on iPad. The payment section is not rendered properly on the screen. Part of it is cut off. Need a IPad specific app that works in tablet (landscape) mode,

Very clumsy app

Most of the time is unable to find simple items like tomatoes or any items indian grocery. Always have to visit in-store to purchase items. Quite frustrating! There are better apps like big basket which is convenient to use but the quality of nature basket products are better than big basket. due to this clumsy app they might have lesser customers

An App with a Lot it Bugs

It keeps crashing, inventory of fruits is not updated hence only once you check-out you get a confirmation if it’s available or not. I wish I could do this online on Nature’s Basket Website !

Confusing

There are 2 really frustrating things about this app—as other reviewers have noted, there is little explanation of items so either you know what something is or you don’t. Also, there are always items listed in the app that are not actually available, which means that every time you order you’re not actually sure what will come.

Poor customer service.

I placed the order on August 1 and I was promised delivery in 5 days. On August 6 I got a call from them asking me if I ordered something?? I was told it will be delivered in next 4-5 days. Still waiting. I ordered stuff for certain occasion and I did not get it. I had to order through Big Basket and they delivered same day. Improve your customer service if you want to survive in this competitive market.

Decent app with few user improvements possible

One suggestion is to have the screen after product add to cart to revert back to the search page from where the product was added. Secondly for multiple times it asks for pin code , can it not take the default delivery address as the pin code and during checkout verify if all products can be met at that pin code ? Otherwise it is good to use is small in size and performance is good in terms of speed.

Terrible payment system, crashes often, credit card processing crashes and then you have to call customer service and waste time. If you choose cash on delivery they will not make change for you.

So far so good! update: sadly not anymore.

Update: In addition to the original experience and review written below, I just mention that the delivery service has started to suffer to a point where I did not even receive my order! I placed the order, selected the delivery slot and was expecting them to deliver. Calls to their customer service center and their delivery center were pointless. They both said they’d find out and get back to me in “10 minutes”. It’s been over three hours and no call, no delivery. I guess Godrej just wants to make it easier for Amazon. Also, changed from 5 to 2 stars. Will give them one more chance before deleting the app permanently. This app really deserves all stars! Outside of Amazon i have not seen a company organize and list out a database of items as vast and diverse as those offered at Nature’s Basket, and stuff it into an app that works well. This effort itself deserves 5 stars! And not just that but the items also get delivered as promised on time! So what’s there to complain about? Well maybe better pictures of items so you can read the details and ingredients and such on the packaging. But that’s no deal breaker. Get this app already,,, yes groceries now a few hours away without having to leave home specifically!

Frustrating

They very frequently do not have items that they list as having. Using Nature’s Basket app is a shot in the dark. It’s worth trying when you don’t have time to go out anyway, but be prepared to be disappointed. I have almost never placed an order with them that they didn’t cancel at least one item on my list. If you’re lucky, they’ll offer an alternative item - it will invariably be more expensive than the item you initially selected. But very often, they simply have to cancel part or all of your order. You also need to make sure you check your entire delivery to ensure everything is there - before you pay. Do not expect to receive everything you order. Check your order when it arrives. And do NOT pay in advance (they have card on delivery option as well as cash on delivery).

Frustrating experience

Products and quantities displayed on the app rarely match what is available on the store. Getting a refund after paying on the app is a huge hassle.

A lifesaver when I need produce fast

This app has been easy to use and reliable, it's great to be able to get fresh produce delivered on less than 24 hours notice.

The app is confusing and the products are subpar

If you want to search for blueberries, the pictures make the product seem like fresh blueberries. However, upon some research you will find out that they are dried blueberries. Many exotic world products do not have enough description for me to understand what I'm getting. The app itself is fine. The address options are pre populated and are not editable which is annoying for some. For India, where the UI UX of most websites are atrocious, this app is one of the better designed ones. I'm sure the catalogue itself will eventually be improved. However, the delivery service they use is atrocious at best. The leafy vegetables are not delivered in a refrigerated vehicle. I never buy celery, broccoli etc. because the people who pick them for packing are terrible at it.

Very Convenient and prompt

Convenience is this sites greatest strength since they allow you to schedule the delivery on a day and time of your choosing. The next best thing is the delivery is prompt and staff is polite.

Disappointing!!

Nature's basket used to be good but for a Very short while. It has become from bad to worse and still worsening in its service. The products inventory is not updated and any out of stock products also show as in Stock. Once the order is placed, they change the order with a substitute and have the audacity to tell the consumer that the product is out of stock! Made a mistake by purchasing from them. Never going to do so in the future. You have been informed. Choice is yours whether to buy or no!

Worst Groceries, rotten, infested with worms

Don't be fooled by the pictures, the products are totally opposite, rotten, infested with pests, and horrible packing. I order from Grofers and their vegetables are fresh and delivered in very good packing. The vegetables I ordered from natures basket were so heavily infested with pests that I had to call pest control to get my fridge cleaned. Don't waste money on natures basket, they are not worth the money, Grofers products are affordable, fresh and the staff is very well mannered and courteous.

Basic app, bad ui

Glad that natures basket has an app now. The app UI is bad and looks like the website elements are compressed and forced to fit into an app. Given that the chain is a gourmet/ lpremiwr lifestyle chain, it would have only added better brand value of the app were made in a professional looking way. Navigation is counterintuitive and the grid display of product display doesn't even show prices properly. Would have hive a 1* but i love their products, and thus a 3

Buggy

The app is a good initiative, however, the payment is a little buggy . I redeemed my loyalty points for an order and the payment wouldnt go through , when i went back - the app had emptied my points permanently . I proceeded to pay the full amount and the order went through .

Gr8 app Easy to use Though have a lot of scope to improve more like moving around different sections n to add address which is already on the profile to b just copied upon after a order But all in all a very good app from a superb store
